The Cabot Trail

Port Hawkesbury is the usual spot to pick up supplies & rest before you hit the Cabot Trail!

The start of the cabot trail is an hours drive away. But the drive from here to the start of the Cabot Trail is stunning too. In fact, a lot of people include Route 19 as part of the Cabot Trail as it’s so picturesque. You’ll also go past beaches, look-offs, a great restaurant, ice-cream parlours, and of course, stunning views.

Most people stay a night in Port Hawkesbury to pick up supplies etc from town and get ready for the spectacular drive! And there’s no better place to get a good night’s rest than here at Breton House.
